Política de ATER e os agricultores familiares beneficiários do PAA no estado de Mato Grosso: fatos e evidências em assentamentos de reforma agrária

Abstract
O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar como os agricultores familiares beneficiários do Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA) veem a importância dos serviços de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural (ATER) e se este está atendendo as demandas produtivas cotidianas. A pesquisa teve como foco de investigação o PAA nos municípios de Juína, São José dos Quatro Marcos e Tangará da Serra no estado de Mato Grosso e foi desenvolvida entre os meses de junho e setembro de 2015, com agricultores familiares assentados pela reforma agrária e beneficiários do PAA. Observou-se ausência ou pouca representatividade das ações de ATER aos agricultores familiares assentados que participam do PAA nestes municípios. Entretanto, os entrevistados demonstraram, em maior proporção, a importância que as ações de ATER têm para o desenvolvimento satisfatório de suas atividades cotidianas. Dessa forma, nota-se a importância de as políticas públicas dirigidas ao segmento da agricultura familiar estarem articuladas entre si, em especial os serviços de ATER para os agricultores familiares fornecedores do PAA, de modo que haja um fortalecimento mútuo.
